Defiant Celtic's manager does not fear being fired however supporters show fury following defeat.
The under-pressure manager declared he did not fear losing his job, asserting, “I believe we are very near to changing our fortunes,” despite moving dangerously close to the exit with a convincing loss to Rangers.
Another Collapse Sees Old Firm Loss
The Hoops were in front Rangers at the interval but a second-half capitulation allowed Rangers to pull level on points with the current Scottish Premiership champions. Nancy, who was hired in December, has now overseen six defeats in eight fixtures.
“The board and I are united with the board,” insisted the manager.
Pressed on his own future, he said: “That’s not my focus. My focus is on working out methods to help my team to be good on the fine details.
Fan Fury Erupts

Focus on the Details

“There were plenty of positives that we did, as was the case today. However is consistency. My outlook would change if I didn't believe it. That’s why I am convinced the team can to fix this.”
Röhl’s Cautious Outlook
Rangers manager refused to contemplate a title charge even after what felt like a huge result. “We take it game by game, and we can develop something here,” he said. “The belief in the squad is outstanding.”
