Salah Issues Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Reveals Curtis Jones
Jones has revealed that Salah expressed regret to the team following the uproar from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a vital match following making accusations and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had broken down.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
The head coach has previously declined to comment publicly on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.
Looking Ahead
He emphasized that the team's response remained positive. “He was the exact same Mo, he was smiling and everybody was exactly the same with him,” the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also noted that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “It's clear there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just not start, then I think that’s concerning.”
Team Form
Their results have remained strong in the games following the interview fallout. The player is convinced the outburst were never meant to destabilise the squad.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re uniting strongly, performing and starting to win games.”
